THE NINETEENTH APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
SATURDAY, JULY 17,1948 - THE DAY AFTER THE FEAST OF OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL
"I leave you this grave sentence which you will not pass on until much later.(1) If My requests are rejected, in some years time this province of Brittany will become uninhabitable but if, in accordance with My wishes, this land which 1 have chosen should become a "Breton Lourdes", then its soil will become fertile through My blessing falling on your crops and fruits, conferring on them great fecundity."
(1) This Message was delivered to the Bishopric of Quimper and Léon in May 1949 because Monsignor A.Fauvel was made aware of the apparitions and asked to see the note-books of Jeanne-Louise.
THE TWENTIETH APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30,1948 - EVE OF THE FEAST OF CHRIST THE KING (1)
The Blessed Virgin (while opening Her arms widely) :
"Have pity on France, have pity for sinners, for so many poor sinners. The first effort has been made. 1 await even more good will."(2)
Jeanne-Louise :
"Why don't you give a sign so that people will believe in your apparitions ?"
The Blessed Virgin :
"Why do you seek to scrutinize the ways of Divine Providence ? Have pity on France."
(1) At that time, the Feast of Christ the King was celebrated on the last Sunday of October.
(2) After the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin had been disclosed through the indiscretion of a little girl (Sunday October 5, 1947), the people of the neighbouring areas began to come to pray. A spontaneous movement of piety began from then.

SUNDAY, MARCH 6,1949 - FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT
"I am standing between God and you, trying to delay His Justice and in spite of this, if men do not repent and change their lives, a terrible tempest will break over the world. This is why 1 have come so often among you, seeking to renew the liaison between mankind and Christ and thereby preserving humanity from the most disastrous of wars,(1) for it is the people of France whom 1 have chosen to renew the broken links between the world and God.
Will France, which is so dear to Me and is today menaced by war, revolution and invasion, remain deaf to My requests and My warnings ? Yet how much 1 would like to save her, restore her and give her rapid unprecedented development. But if you do not wish it so, how can 1 work without you ? Doesn't your destiny depend on your freedom ? 1 leave you one last hope - do at last pay attention to My requests, let many and fervent prayers and devotion rise up from this place to Me and 1 shall save France, 1 will protect France from the Russians. And these Russians, touched by a sudden enlightenment, will join in a new wisdom for the World."
(1) On January 1, 1980, thirteenth World Day of Peace, Pope John-Paul II gave a moving homily outlining the consequences of a nuclear war.
THE TWENTY-SECOND APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
TUESDAY, MAY 24, w1949 - FEAST OF OUR LADY, REFUGE OF SINNERS
"In this place, 1 come down especially for sinners ; however if people pay heed to Me, 1 will not refuse bodily cures(1)."
Then Our Lady, continuing with the Message, asked Jeanne-Louise to keep it secret(2).
After this apparition, Jeanne-Louise picked some daisies in the vicinity and she gave them to the family. The following Saturday, May 28, the flowers were placed on the bed of the dying person. The fever abated immediately. Forty-eight hours later, Madame Le Goff could be operated on. Contrary to all expectations, she came through the opération. While a novena of prayers was being said for her et Kerizinen, Madame Le Goff recovered very quickly and resumed the hardy work of the farm. The newspapers made headlines of this first cure and Kerizinen emerged from obscurity.
Pilgrims flooded in more and more numerously et this time and Jeanne-Louise received an order from her confessor not to go any more to the site of the apparitions to say the Rosary publicly. This instruction remained for more than a year. As a result of that first miracle, the Bishopric of Quimper and Léon learned of the existence of Kerizinen through the newspapers and asked for information from the Parish of Plounevez-Lochrist. It goes without saying that up to that date Jeanne-Louise had never transmitted anything directly to the Bishop's Palace at Quimper, but had followed the normal route of sending everything to the local clergy.
(1) A neighbour of Jeanne-Louise, Madame Pauline Le Goff from the village of Lanhouarneau, had been taken to hospital et Morlaix two months previously suffering from stones in the gall bladder. She could not be operated on because of a high fever which had resisted treatment. Through inability to digest food, Madame Le Goff was very weakened. People were expecting the worst.
(2) Just like the preceding secrets, this was known only to Jeanne-Louise.
THE TWENTY-THIRD APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
SATURDAY, AUGUST 6,1949-FEAST OF THE TRANSFIGURATION AND FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
There was no water available at Kerizinen. The Ramonets and their neighbours used to fetch water at a place about five hundred metres away called "the White Fountain" (Feuntenn Venn in Breton). This water was not always of adequate purity and may have caused the deaths of Mrs Ramonet, as well as two of her children, Joseph and Euphrasie (typhoid epidemic, 1927). The absence of water had surprised the first pilgrims for they said that in almost all the places of apparitions, the Blessed Virgin had caused springs of miraculous water to gush forth.
On that August 6 1949, Jeanne-Louise therefore asked :
"Will there be no water in this place ?"
The Blessed Virgin :
"Pray, pray a lot and you will have water(1)."
Then Jeanne-Louise told Her of the refusal of Father B.....
The Blessed Virgin :
"Father B.....has declined, I knew it. It was solely to test you that I acted in this way. Try to find a lesson in charity and mercy here. Do not be concerned ; I will send you a true priest whom 1 will support through all these matters."
Then Jeanne-Louise complained about the misunderstandings and the derision which was directed at her so much.
The Blessed Virgin :
"Will you not accept it and suffer it out of love for My Son ? You are not the only one to be accused like this wrongfully. Look at that man, Monsieur G.S. who has just spent many years in prison in place of the guilty person. With what faith he endured the trial of captivity, even though he was innocent. The innocence of that man will reawaken justice in your land.
I want a Chapel to be built in this place(2).
Assumed into Heaven, body and soul, carried triumphantly by the angels, crowned Queen of Heaven and of the Earth by the Most Holy Trinity, 1 watch compassionately over my children of this Earth. Come to Me, 1 will relieve your sufferings, 1 will protect the Church, 1 will save the sinners (3).
I want these words to be made known to the Holy Father and spread around the world. But you will not transmit them until a later date which 1 will indicate to you, so as to allow the Church to act (4)."
(1) From that moment, the pilgrims began to search for water everywhere. The clergy of Plounevez-Lochrist, as well as the Bishopric, sent people to look for water. Four religions who were teaching et St-Thegonnec were dispatched. They found nothing also and they left promising to pray and to get their pupils to pray that water would appear quickly.
Water did appear three years later, on July 13, 1952 et about two o'clock in the afternoon, at the bottom of the field of the apparitions where there was a small excavation. Since then it has never dried up and has been the instrument of many cures.
It is interesting to note that since the water began to flow, several water diviners have established the origin of the source to be at the exact spot of the apparitions.
(2) In 1949, the place of the apparitions had changed a little. In May the pilgrims brought a small statue of the Virgin made of Quimper China. In December 1949, a small glass shrine was erected to protect the statue and house the first ex-voto offerings. If was on top of this small shrine that the Blessed Virgin seemed to stand in subsequent apparitions (See the list of requests, appendix 1).
(3) This paragraph is a prophecy about the coming proclamations of Pope Pius XII concerning the Assumption of Mary and Her Queenship.
(4) On May 1, 1946, Pope Plus XII, by means of the letter Deiparae Virginis, sought to consult with the whole episcopate in order to ascertain if it was opportune to proclaim the Dogma of the Assumption. The response from the Bishops was almost unanimous, so Pope Pius XII proclaimed the Assumption of Mary as a Dogma of the Faith on November 1, 1950, fifteen months after this apparition.
In accordance with the instructions of the Blessed Virgin, Jeanne-Louise kept the last part of this Message a secret.
THE TWENTY-FOURTH APPARITION
OUR LADY OFTHE MOST HOLY ROSARY
FRIDAY DECEMBER 9 1949 (WITHIN THE OCTAVE OF THE FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION)
"The time is not far distant when France, My cherished nation, will recover its true and bright appearance but before that comes the great chastisement due for your faults.
But go to your Bishop and bring him these last words(l) I am giving you before the storm : let him authorise and organize prayers and pilgrimages in this place and this chastisement will be mercifully reduced by me for you. Let a Chapel be built here, for now 1 wish to repeat the miracles which in other times were worked here by Christ My Son,(2) especially in favour of sinners !"
Then the Blessed Virgin gave Jeanne-Louise a Message for her Bishop, Monsignor Fauvel.
(1) Some days after the apparition Jeanne-Louise wrote to the Bishopric of Quimper and Léon. Three weeks later she received a reply asking her to come on Monday January 30, 1950. She went to Quimper in the company of two people from Plounevez-Lochrist. Monsignor André Fauvel received her et two o'clock, for about twenty minutes. Jeanne-Louise gave him a personal Message, the text of which is not printed here and which has never been published.
(2) A new allusion to the chapel of Lochrist which was also a great place of pilgrimage. There the sick congregated seeking to be cured in the waters of the fountain of Lochrist, and many went away cured. Today this pilgrimage is abandoned.
Formerly, in olden times,
At Lochrist there was a fountain
Which was much frequented
By pilgrims who came from many lands.
Hundreds of sick people
Suffering from many and different maladies
Recovered their health
Here by the Cross.
To appreciate the miracles
Which were done here and are still done,
To narrate them and write them down

TWENTY-FIFTH AND TWENTY-SIXTH APPARITION
(These two apparitions are identical)

THURSDAY, MARCH 25,1954 (1)-FEAST OF THE ANNUNCIATION
SATURDAY, AUGUST 7,1954-FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
Jeanne-Louise :
"The Blessed Virgin is surrounded by Angels who carry Her up to Heaven(2). The Angels are singing : "Assumpta est Maria in Caelum"(3).
While the Angels sang many times in childlike voices the refrain "Assumpta est Maria in Caelum", the Blessed Virgin rose up towards Heaven and then the apparition disappeared."
(1) This was the only one of all the apparitions which took place in the evening, at about 7 o'clock. Several families were present. Three children confirmed that they had heard the Angels singing. A baby, resting in the arms of its mother, began clapping its hands with delight.
(2) While previously the Blessed Virgin had appeared alone, here Our Lady was surrounded by a multitude of Angels dressed in white and appearing to be about 8 years old.
(3) Just as the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception proclaimed in 1854 was confirmed at Lourdes in 1858, the Dogma of the Assumption received two confirmations through these two apparitions at Kerizinen.
THE TWENTY-SEVENTH APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY, surrounded by Angels
SUNDAY AUGUST 15, 1954 - FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION
Jeanne-Louise :
"The Blessed Virgin is crowned"(1)
For the first time Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary is wearing a royal diadem which She will continue to wear for all the other apparitions. This crown resting on Her veil is very plain ; a circle of gold in the form of a diadem slightly curved towards the back and rising in the centre of the forehead to form a point.
Just as in the two preceding apparitions, the Blessed Virgin was surrounded by angels and did not speak. One Angel only turned towards Jeanne-Louise and said to her.
Words of the Angel :
"Our Queen wishes you to know that the moment has come to transmit (2)Her words of August 6 1949, concerning Her Assumption, to the Church."
When the Angel pronounced the words "Our Queen", all the Angels surrounding the Blessed Virgin bowed their heads.
(1) This new departure should be associated with the declaration of Pius XII two months later, on October 11, 1954 when he instituted the Feast of the Queenship of Mary (May 31).
(2) After this apparition, Jeanne-Louise delivered the Message of August 6, 1949 about Our Lady's Assumption directly into the hands of the parish priest of Plounevez-Lochrist.
THE TWENTY-EIGHTH APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4, 1954 - FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
Jeanne-Louise :
"This time the Blessed Virgin appears over the altar. (1) Once again she is crowned but this time She is crying". (2)
The Blessed Virgin says nothing during this apparition.
(1) The altar : This was the name given by devotees to the small glass shrine standing at the place of the apparitions towards the end of 1949.
(2) The Blessed Virgin also cried at La Salette in 1846. At Syracuse in Sicily an image of the Madonna cried for 75 hours from Saturday August 29 to Tuesday September 1, 1953. (These events were officially recognised by the Church).

"The Blessed Virgin is crying once again and twice took her Rosary beads off Her arm to show it to me."
THE THIRTIETH APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
SATURDAY, MARCH 5, 1955 - FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
Jeanne-Louise :
"The Blessed Virgin is crying again. A picture takes shape below Her,representing the World in a state of indifference and the chastisements which overtake it."
The Blessed Virgin :
"I suffer because of the indifference of mankind. My Heart bleeds because of the offences, especially those of impurity, directed at My Divine Son.The hour of Divine Justice will not be long delayed in sounding. (1) But be strong, Christians. The Reign of God is close. It will begin with an event which will be as astonishing as it is unexpected. God will confound the pride of the impious. He will overturn the obstacles and upset the plans of those who prevent the light from shining.
But to hasten this Reign of God and this triumph of the Church, go and tell the priests to build a chapel (2)here and to celebrate there the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with Reparatory Communions against the outrages of impurity. They will discover strength and appropriate graces here. Just souls will be sanctified and sinners converted, thus the World will be renewed and pacified.
And France, this nation of enlightenment, once its debts have been paid, will be saved by means above ail human understanding and recompensed by an abundance of graces and blessings. Ail those nations which will have fought by her side with courage and intrepidity will receive the glorious recompense of taking their place in the bosom of the Roman Catholic Church, which will itself emerge from this baptism of blood renewed and rejuvenated. In place of those impious thrones there will stand two glorious thrones, one to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the other to My Immaculate Heart. Thus the name of God will be glorified throughout the earth. The more hostile the World will have been to the supernatural, so much the more marvellous and extraordinary will be the events to confound that negation of the supernatural."
(1) When the Blessed Virgin had finished this sentence, the picture disappeared.
(2) Our Lady repeats here the request made on August 6, 1949.
THE THIRTY-FIRST APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
THURSDAY MAI 12 1955
"Let the Holy Father and the Bishops be on their guard against certain astonishing and extraordinary prodigies which are happening nowadays and are not always celestial but often the work of the Spirits of Darkness unleashed on the earth (1) and attempting thus to abolish all that there is of the divine.
The demon has unleashed all his malice to prevent My apparitions being recognised in Brittany, but 1 will triumph in spite of him.
In this place 1 come down mainly for your souls, to help the children of the true faith to grow in the Love of God ; but also to heal human society from that grave and profound malady which gnaws at it and undermines it, dragging it to its ruin, and which is nothing other than the abandonment of God.
There is no place where 1 distribute My supernatural graces in such abundance. Nobody will ever leave it without new graces. (2)
Ah! what a road you would travel if obstacles were not put in My way. Come to Me then and 1 will lead you to Jesus : in consoling His Heart you will dry My tears. These tears which 1 shed for you are full of Motherly love because if you do not return to God, you are at the dawn of terrible chastisements. Do you not already see all these scourges which are being unleashed on the World ? You prefer to reject the warnings of such a tender and merciful Mother rather than profit from Her advice, which is the only means for you to reduce the intensity of the scourges threatened by the Divine Anger. My words and tears would then become Messages of Justice visited upon the entire World, because to turn one's back on Me is to destroy the one and only hope of rescue left for the World.
Mankind is unable to bring about peace by itself.
So let those who believe in Me implore the Divine Mercy. Let them combat with the arms of Faith, Love and Prayer.
Above all let the meditated Rosary, which is a rainbow of Peace drawn by God in His Mercy through the sky of His Church, be raised constantly towards Heaven. It is like a garland of roses which binds your childlike hearts to My Maternal Heart. (3)
Oh Yes! Prayer is the only means of uniting hearts, the only weapon against weaponry! Let it rise towards Him from whom alone can come every help. God will thus allow Himself to be won around, for who could live if He did not shorten the duration of the hardships ?
But be courageous, I am at hand, I watch, I love you and I hold the tiller to direct the immense barque of the Christian world through the reefs and tempests ; I see from a distance all those dangerous currents form and the rocks on which it could impact and be broken. 1 do not seek the destruction of the World in coming down so often to visit you but its conversion and return to God. It seems to Me that in My kindness towards you, I would bring back to God the pieces if He should break up the World in His Anger. After such partiality, will you still refuse me your trust ?
Continue to pray for France, in which God will later take His delight, but only after She has completed Her expiation. Place Her in His Divine Hands ; if one of them strikes and lays low when it is necessary, the other revives, raises up and purifies.
Pray a lot for the Holy Father (4)and for the Church which I shall support so that, after the fearful tempest through which she will pass, she will be able soon, in triumph and full liberty, to preach the Gospel of the only true Christ everywhere ; He will then be loved and served throughout a now peaceful world.
Ask your Parish Priest to set up the Association of the Children of Mary, about which 1 spoke to you in recent years, in his parish(5). In the beginning, he will encounter the Cross and he can expect a few jolts, for the opposition of Satan to this work is great, but much good will be accomplished in souls. The founders of works are often like the stones set in the mud and mortar. Let him not be frightened, on the contrary let him rejoice for ail such contradictions, painful to bear on earth, are the source of great joys in Heaven.
Let him sow this tiny seed with confidence and 1 will cause it to grow, it will be the work of My love. Its members should recite the meditated Rosary daily ; Their motto will be - "EVERYTHING FOR JESUS THROUGH MARY" - and the purpose : to console the Sacred Heart of Jesus through My Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, by practising the three great virtues of HUMILITY, SWEETNESS and MERCY. (6)Very often God illumines the most incapable souls with His Light to give them the talent for great things. 1 shall spread many graces on this work, both on those who establish it and on those who make it known.
How splendid will be the crown for those who will have wanted to console the Heart of My Son ! Those members will be the blessed of My Heart ! 1 see them, 1 know them. They will eventually become so numerous that 1 will request the foundation of a Congregation of nuns of My Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. This Congregation which 1 desire will have some resemblance to the Passion of My Son, but it will also mark a great leap in devotion to My Sorrowful Heart since those souls will endeavour, through a special attachment, to venerate My Sorrowful Heart ; a title which My Son wanted for Me and which 1 acquired by participating in His Passion, thus co-operating in the Work of your Redemption. It is through My Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart that the Reign of the Sacred Heart, which is one of Justice and Love, will be extended throughout the World. It is by Our Two Hearts united in everything, riddled by the same wounds and continually martyred by the ingratitude of men, that the salvation of peoples will be realized and that the Church will rise up again strong, united and triumphant. The beauty and the oneness of the Church of Christ will then be magnificent.
As for you, receive with confidence that Bread of Life which God sends you. It will give you new strength against the pit-falls of the demon but God wishes especially thereby to make you better understand His wish to live in you and even more so for you to live in Him."
(1) The beginning of this Message is an exact repetition, using different language, of part of the secret of La Salette : "Let the Pope be on his guard against miracle-workers, for the time has come when the most surprising prodigies will take place on the earth and in the air - in the year 1864 Lucifer and a great number of demons will be released from Hell ; they will abolish the faith little by little, even among persons consecrated to God".
(2) In the archives there are many testimonies of cures, conversions and diverse graces ; hundreds of ex-voto plaques cover the walls of the small Oratory.
(4) PiusXII (Eugenio Pacelli), Pope from 1939 to 1958.
(5) The Message of October 4, 1947 having produced no response, Our Lady repeats Her request here. Jeanne-Louise transmitted the text of the apparition as usual to the Parish Priest of Plounevez-Lochrist (Father G.). The Bishopric at Quimper was also informed. There was no reply. In March 1977 a group of "Children of Mary of Kerizinen" formed spontaneously in obedience to Our Lady's request.
(6) Humility, sweetness and mercy are the graces which we forget to ask for from Our Lady. These virtues correspond to the rings encrusted with precious stones worn by the Blessed Virgin et the Rue du Bac but which did not emit any sparkle. "These stones which remain lifeless represent the graces which people forget to ask from Me" (Words spoken by the Blessed Virgin to Catherine Labouré on 27.11.1830) Moreover it was at the Rue du Bac that the Blessed Virgin requested the formation of an Association of Children of Mary for the first time. Many such were founded throughout France. Most of these disappeared including that et Plounevez-Lochrist, a little before the second World War. Jeanne-Louise was never a member.
THE THIRTY-SECOND APPARITION
THE BLESSED VIRGIN ALONE, THEN CHRIST (FIRST APPARITION OF THE UNITED HEARTS)
SATURDAY OCTOBER 1, 1955 - FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
The Blessed Virgin (alone) :
"If prayer were not on your lips and in your hearts, 1 do not know what God would do with you or what would become of this poor, bewildered, unbalanced World ; and Satan does not stop at all in his efforts to dechristianise it ! God could still leave you for a long time to the whim of your enemies if it were not for the prayer and sacrifice of the just which attracts His Divine Clemency and halts His vengeance.
Oh yes, the World is in great danger for it is so inundated by sin ! But in the course of the last centuries, on various occasions, the World has been saved by the Rosary, (1) and today it will be neither the cannons, nor the bombs, nor manpower which will put an end to the wars and tribulations. From one end of the World to the other, dear children of the earth, come together again by means of this powerful and effective weapon which is the Rosary, this blessed chain which links Earth and Heaven, and 1 will show Myself to be the Mother of Mercy and the Dove of reconciliation with Divine Justice, obtaining a decisive Heavenly intervention which will put an end to the troubles afflicting humanity.
The Rosary ! Let Me tell you today how much this prayer pleases Me. Each time you say it you place a royal diadem on My forehead, repeating that filial gesture of the Holy Father when proclaiming My Queenship, (2) a gesture which was so sweet to My Heart and so tender to My Son that it caused a triple rivulet of graces to flood the whole earth from the Power, the Wisdom and the Love of the Most Holy Trinity.
Yes, the times are grave. Nations and governments are united against God and Christ. (3) The World has condemned to isolation He who is Life and Peace. Thus we see this World tremble and crack like the mountain of Calvary in a paroxysm of agony, a forewarning sign of an imminent and certain death.
But to rescue these nations without foundations, these peoples in utter rout, 1 request that the World be once more consecrated, but now to Our Two United Hearts. (4)
Ah Yes! Let your families, your nations and the whole World be consecrated in the very same consecration, to the Sacred and Merciful Heart of Jesus and to My Sorrowful and lmmaculate Heart to Our Two Hearts United in the Holy Spirit.
This consecration made in reparatory love will transform the wounds of Our Hearts into well-springs of life and will allow Us to come back victoriously to this distressed earth to calm the tempest and disperse in a sovereign manner those numerous apostates who, with infernal rage, seek to destroy your Faith and eliminate everything that comes from God.
This consecration will be the harmonious voice which will fill the Universe with a wave of invincible hope for all, but with horrible terror for Satan and his supporters since it will put an end to the reign of impiety, and the World, at present condemned to certain ruin, will be saved.
Yes, the World will be saved through Our Two Hearts United, for these Two Hearts joined in the same sufferings will triumph in the same Kingship ; but this Reign will only begin to be realized universally when it is first in the interior of your own hearts. It is inside yourselves, in the secret sanctuary of your souls, that we want to place the foundation of Our Divine Reign, which will be one of mercy, light and love and will bring to the Earth a celestial breeze of ineffable peace."
Jeanne-Louise :
As soon as the Blessed Virgin had finished speaking, Our Lord appeared at Her right side : both of them, in a similar gesture, opened their mantles to reveal their Hearts, which were covered with wounds, some bleeding and others healed. Their Hearts were then immediately joined by the same sword and the same luminous rays. But there was a red ray and a white one which came from the Heart of Our Lord but did not reach to the Heart of Our Lady.
Our Lord is dressed in a reddish-brown tunic gathered at the waist by a belt. He wears a cloak of the same colour which reaches to His knees, His bare feet and his hands are marked with the stigmata ; His face is slightly tanned, His eyes are blue, He has a small beard as well as a moustache and His reddish-brown curly hair falls to His shoulders."
Christ said nothing during this first apparition.
Afterwards, when Jesus and Mary appear together, they will always do so with Their Hearts United.

Our Lady requests here that these two consecrations be repeated in one unique consecration. There exists a Prayer of Consecration to the Two United Hearts. It received the approbation of the Vicariate of Rome on June 14, 1969, Feast of the Sacred Heart.
THE THIRTY-THIRD APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10 1955-WITHIN THE OCTAVE OF THE FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
During the previous apparition, when for the first time Jesus and Ma appeared together and showed their united Hearts joined, Jeanne-Louise ha seen two rays different from the others - one red and one white - gush out from the Heart of Jesus.
Not understanding the significance of this, she asks today about it :
"What is the meaning of those two red and white rays which come from the Heart of Our Lord ?"
The Blessed Virgin :
"These white and red rays represent the Water and the Blood which gushed forth from the Heart of My Son when it was pierced on the Cross. The white Ray symbolizes the Water which purifies the soul and the red Ray means the Blood which is the life of the soul. You receive great merits when meditating on or invoking this Water and this Blood which gushed forth like a spring of Mercy for you all from the Heart of your Divine Redeemer. (1)
Tell the pilgrims about the great joy that 1 feel at the sight of their trust, their prayers and their efforts. (2)Let them continue to come in large numbers here on pilgrimage. (3) I will cover them with My graces and My blessings. I will equally support and bless all those who defend the cause of My apparitions.
But how 1 suffer from the indifference of My priestly sons (4)who do not respond to My requests. I understand their prudence but their inflexibility wounds My Heart. Yes many of God's ministers do not take My requests, which are the requests of My Son, sufficiently seriously. Will they understand in time the extreme gravity of Our warnings, which are of limpid clarity and portray much more closely the reality of your days than in the past ? Will they help Us to save the World by fulfilling Our requests or will they, in the universal confusion, allow it to go to its ruin, in spite of Our anguished call ?
To combat the unchained abyss which is trying for one last time to overturn the work of Redemption and, aware of the weakening faith of Christian countries and the atheism which threatens to inundate the World, your Divine Saviour, My Son, is intervening through insistent calls to snatch souls from damnation and to defend His Church, to which He has promised final victory.
I, your Divine Mother, urge you to pray and to do penance and I try to touch your hearts with My tears to move you to pity.
Through an ineffable tenderness, My Son and I deign to show you Our Hearts surrounded with thorns, covered with wounds representing the sins of the World.
So I ask you to pray a lot so that each and everyone of Our priestly sons respond generously to Our calls and understand at last that they live in the midst of the supernatural. Let them come with confidence to drink at the well-spring of Our Hearts, for the devotion to Our Hearts will be a great illumination for them and an excellent means to extend, through Me, the Reign of Christ, who does not wish to punish humanity but to heal it and press it to His Merciful Heart."
(1) Let us compare this explanation with that given to Sister Faustina (a Polish nun of the Congregation Our Lady of Mercy) ; on October 26, 1934 she asked an explanation of Our Lord after seeing two white and red rays coming from His Heart. Jesus then replied to her : "These Rays signify the Water and the Blood ; the Water which justifies the souls and the Blood which is life for the soul. They sprang from My Heart opened on the Cross. These Rays protect the soul from the Anger of My Father. Happy those who live in their shade, Justice will not reach them".
(2) After the cure of a young boy aged fifteen years from Brest, and with the verbal approval of the Vicar General to the Bishop of Quimper and Leon, the construction of a small oratory (8 metres by 6) was begun. The foundations of this little oratory were begun on Tuesday, December 6, four days before this present apparition.
(3) The news about the building project spread around and very large numbers of pilgrims came to Kerizinen on December 8, 1955 (about 5000 people) for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (At that time, this was traditionally a Feast free from work in the region).
(4) From 1955, a female friend of Jeanne-Louise advised her very strongly to send ai the Messages from now on not just to the parish priest of Plounevez-Lochrist but also directly to the Bishopric of Quimper and Leon, which she did.
Meanwhile, Jeanne-Louise was asked by the pilgrims present to make known the Messages received, before and after the Rosary. This was done until 1968, the date of the first printing of the Messages.
THE THIRTY-FOURTH APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
SATURDAY, MARCH 3, 1956 - FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
"The modern World shouts unconcernedly : "God and prayer, Oh, it was good for the past ; today, the times have changed, let us live in our epoch !" And they go in search of money, pleasures and amusements.
Yes, the times have perhaps changed but God, who is the Law and the Judge, does not change. All you have understood it, you who are united here with your efforts and your courage to construct this place of prayer. Be sure also today of My great joy in taking possession of it and may you all be blessed for it. (1) But how great is My desire and that of My Son and how sweet it would be for Our Hearts to see the Church unite its great prayer (2)and its efforts with those of the people.
Be persistent again with the religions authorities so that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with reparatory Communion (3) be celebrated here. It will benefit souls. Mass and reparatory Communions are necessary because God is forgotten, Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is deserted, the cause of so many present day misfortunes. From Heaven itself and especially from His Tabernacle He follows, with a look veiled in tears, the immense caravan of His children redeemed by His Blood who never pray, who never go to Communion and who will die from hunger by their Father's House, He watches the large number of souls who, for a moment, stop near the well which is the Tabernacle but refuse to quench their thirst and do not wish to taste those living waters from His transpierced Side which gush up into Eternal Life : and those others, still more numerous, who sipped the nectar from His Heart in the Eucharist one hundred and one times, who placed their lips so often against the delectable Wound in His Side and then forgot Him, going away to never return. Their ingratitude pierces His Soul, tearing it profoundly.
Ah, My dear children, appreciate His sadness and make amends ! He is there, waiting expectantly with anguished love in this garden of His mystical and sacramental Agony. Just like the Angel in the Garden of Gethsemane and even better than he, be His consolers. Support Him ! Tell Him with fire in your heart and on your lips, 0 ! tell Him that you love Him truly and that you want always to love Him more. Let everyone be united in those Masses and Communions to repair for so many injustices, indifferences and withdrawals but also for the salvation of all those souls who are starving for the love of their God without knowing it and wilt from their lack of Christian life, dying from an unconscious nostalgia - nostalgia for the Host."
When the Blessed Virgin had given Her Message, Jeanne-Louise questioned Her once again.
A neighbour of Jeanne-Louise had met a priest who was very well versed in the Breton language. During the conversation, Kerizinen was closely discussed and the priest asked, possibly in jest, if the Blessed Virgin could not speak Breton.
So, Jeanne-Louise asked Her :
"Why do you not express Yourself in Breton ?"
The Blessed Virgin :
"Lavar da va bugale Breiz eo bras dreist va c'harantez evito, met beac'het pounner va c'halon o vellet anezo o koll ag o feiz o yes. Ma na gomzan ket bresoneg o tisken var o touarou eo e karfen e ve displeget va c'homzou dre ar bed, met dreistholl dre ar Frans, ar Vro-se ag a garan kement, a garfen do skoazella a da savete, diouz an darvoudou a venn e skei. Va bennoz d'an holl Vretoned ! Ra zale'hint d'ar beden, d'o teiz ha d'o yes, ha ra zeuint holi gant karantez da scubla d'am goulennou !".
Here is the translation : "Tell My children of Brittany that My Love for them is great but My Heart is heavy watching them loose their Faith and their language. If 1 do not speak Breton when 1 come down among you, it is because I wish My words to be spread throughout the World, but especially throughout France, this country which 1 love so much and which 1 want to support and rescue from all the chastisements which threaten it.
I give My blessing to the Bretons : let them preserve piety, their faith and their language and may all of them respond with love to My requests."
(1) The small oratory was finished et the beginning of 1956 ; it was blessed privately on February 5, 1956, just as would be done for a house. On this date also some people presented a statue in granite of the Blessed Virgin which was also painted in accordance with the appearance of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. That same year a pilgrim sculptured a large Crucifix and then, some time later, he painted the first picture of the apparition of the United Hearts.
From the beginning of the construction people wondered what name should be given to this building. So they were content when Our Lady christened it "a place for prayer". Later these three words were placed on the facade : "PRAYER, PENANCE, TRUST", and a representation of the two Hearts of Jesus and Mary pierced by a single sword. Twenty benches were placed inside.
In 1970, some pilgrims gave a large statue of the Sacred Heart. With the passing of the years the bottom part of the Oratory walls became covered with ex-voto plaques. On September 17, 1978 a new building (57 metres x 36m) encapsulating the small Oratory, was inaugurated. Up to the present day there has never been an attar, nor any liturgical celebration.

(3) A petition dated October 7, 1956, addressed to Monseigneur Fauvel, Bishop of Quimper and Léon and signed by 356 people, is kept in the archives. It asked for Mass at the place of apparitions. It was not posted, in view of the prohibition issued five days later.
THE THIRTY-FIFTH APPARITION
CHRIST AND THE BLESSED VIRGIN, HEARTS UNITED
FRIDAY, JUNE 1 st, 1956-FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH-WITHIN THE OCTAVE OF CORPUS CHRISTI
Jeanne-Louise :
"As on October 1st, Jesus and Mary uncovered their Hearts which were still linked by the same sword and the same luminous rays, but there were also a red and a white ray which issued from the Heart of Our Lord but were not directed towards that of Our Lady."
The Blessed Virgin :
"Sinking deeper and deeper into moral disorder, the World straddles the abyss and is in danger of a great catastrophe since the Divine Anger still seems on the point of being unleashed."
Christ :
"If 1 punished the World according to what it deserves, 1 would break it with a thundering blow, but My Mother is there ! Her sorrow and Her tears are a counterpoise to the sins of the World and maintain it in equilibrium."
The Blessed Virgin :
"Yes, it is sin which has given you an unhappy world. All the present-day tragedies are the distressing sign of this, but join your prayers and penances to My supplications in order to prevent the revenging wrath. Appreciate My warnings and My tears, not as if they were a threat but as a last resort of the Divine Mercy. The more evil abounds, the more Divine Mercy superabounds. The darkest hours of Human History are the very ones which provoke the most moving interventions of the Infinite Love of Jesus, for which 1 am the Delegate and Ambassador.
In these troubled times, turn with confidence towards the Sacred and Merciful Heart of My Son, Jesus."
Christ :
"Take refuge in the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of My Mother ; it is the arch which leads to My Merciful Heart. My Heart cannot reign or triumph without the Heart of My Mother, because She is Queen just as 1 am King. Like Her, and insistently, I request that the World be consecrated to Our Two Hearts, united in the Holy Spirit. Thus consecrated it would escape from ruin and enjoy divine blessings, for this consecration would be the great breath of Our Merciful Love which would come to restore everything, to bring true peace. The World must be saved, not by violence, but by the Spirit and Our Hearts."
A day did not pass without some pilgrims asking Jeanne-Louise for the Blessed Virgin to obtain a miracle to vindicate the apparitions. Yet again Jeanne-Louise placed the matter before Our Lady :
"What must we do so that people will believe in your apparitions ? Will you not obtain a great miracle."
The Blessed Virgin :
"The graces and the favours which 1 have granted in this place are innumerable and the signs (1) which I have given are many but if they are not appreciated 1 can obtain other miracles for you : you must help Me. Pray with faith for prayer is the only force before which God yields."
Jeanne-Louise :
"The pilgrims wish to know the date of Your next apparition, if You come back again."
The Blessed Virgin :
"Yes, I know their wishes. I appreciate their faith ; let them remain confident in Me, but I must efface Myself before this astonishing divine favour of God giving Himself to a creature(2)."
(1) Numerous signs were given et Kerizinen. In particular, the pilgrims were present several times and saw "the dance of the Sun", similar to that which took place at Fatima on October 13, 1917. In the same vain, on December 8, 1953 (the day of the opening of the Marian Year by Pius XII), while the rosary was coming to an end (about 5.00 p.m.), the pilgrims present - about one hundred - saw the little shrine light up. Then someone shouted "Look et the sun, it's coming down towards us ! " Everyone was able to look at it without discomfort while it kept changing colour and seemed to fall towards the Earth. The people and the surroundings changed colour at the same time as the sun and they remained steeped in red, green or yellow long after the phenomenon had ceased. While children seemed very happy, many adults made an act of contrition.
This "Dance of the Sun" occurred again during 1954, particularly on March 27, the day on which the Feast of the Annunciation was celebrated at Kerizinen.
Other signs were also given : On Palm Sunday (April 3rd 1955) during the recitation of the Rosary, a shower of rose petals fell from the sky. Other persons worthy of trust certified to having heard Angels sing and to having smelt the perfumes of roses, lilies or incense. After each apparition an indefinable perfume reigned everywhere and even the flowers placed in the oratory were impregnated with it (camellias, chrysanthemums).
(2) In 1956, Jeanne-Louise received a mystical Communion almost every morning. This is the "astonishing Divine favour of God giving Himself to a creature".
If the pilgrims had known the date of the next apparition of the Blessed Virgin, they would all have come on that day ; they would have inevitably shown less interest in the mystical Communions. The Blessed Virgin would therefore have been given the first place and it must not be so ; the honour due to the Eucharistic Lord must be above all. So the Blessed Virgin did not give the date of the next apparition.
THE THIRTY-SIXTH APPARITION
OUR LADY OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
SUNDAY OCTOBER 14, 1956 - OCTAVE OF THE MOST HOLY ROSARY
The Blessed Virgin :
"You are suffering My child (1). Yes, 1 know the pain which grips your heart. But look at Me, look at this new wound of My Heart which bleeds profusely."
Jeanne-Louise :
"At that moment, the Blessed Virgin uncovered Her Heart."
The Blessed Virgin :
"With My people, love Me, console Me, for where would you be if I were not here ! Accept your pains, offer your sufferings and your prayers to My Son Jesus for My priestly sons. Ah ! if today those beloved sons of the Priesthood could weigh - yes weigh - My Heart, they would understand the weight of My sorrow. It is so full that I can only cry. (2)"
(1) On Friday, October 12, 1956, the Bishop of Quimper and Leon, Monseigneur Fauvel, issued his first prohibition on Kerizinen in the religions weekly of Quimper : "Concerning the alleged apparitions at Kerizinen in Plounevez-Lochrist, we make clear the following points :
1. - The building there has been erected in spite of our express prohibition made in writing and notified to the person concerned. No priest has received faculties from us to bless the building.
2. - We forbid all priests and religions from going to Kerizinen or to encourage others to go there. (This notice will be read from the pulpit next Sunday, October 14, at all Masses in the Diocese).
Let us add that, to date, there has been no canonical investigation and that, contrary to this statement, Jeanne-Louise has never been "expressively forbidden" from having an edifice built.
Besides, Canon Law has never required that a permit for construction should come from the Bishop for a building of this kind.
On the contrary, a verbal authorisation was given to Mlle Ramonet for the construction of an oratory on her property by the Vicar General, Father Herve.
Jeanne-Louise was advised by the Parish Priest on Saturday October 13 to stay away from Church the next day for Mass, because of the reading out from the pulpit of the prohibition.
So Jeanne-Louise stayed et home on the Sunday morning. Then she went to the oratory where the Blessed Virgin appeared to her. She had not received any interior calls on that day before the apparition. Before the Blessed Virgin gave Her Message, Jeanne Louise received a mystical Communion.
